GENRAL MUSHAFAR QUITS  The media has constantly been showing images, video clips, and interviews of people celebrating the resignation of the president. However, very few, almost none, have shown the views of the people who are pro-Musharraf despite the fact that many Musharraf supporters exist. I request the media to show the people both sides of the picture. I was extremely sorry to watch the president announce his resignation. A brave soldier with plenty of pride in the oldest profession has resigned for the sake of peace, tranquillity and democracy. During his tenure Pakistan was prospering by leaps and bounds but who knows what will happen now. Long live Pakistan.

Pakistan is now in a terrible situation. Pervez Musharraf is out and Asif Ali Zardari has apparently assumed all the powers. I don't think Mr Zardari is capable of running the country effectively. Have the people forgotten his past? Our nation has such a short memory. These days, politicians are busy only in pulling each others' legs and none of them seems concerned over providing relief to the people. There are energy and food crises and the law and order situation is getting poorer. The country desperately needs stability and a sense of political certainty. Dragging the former president in courts would only exacerbate matters. The former president has done a lot for the nation in his 44-year service in the Pakistan army and deserves respect.

The storm is not as bas as it seemed.Dont let the rain ruin you, if you see the dark Clouds are approaching, JUST smile beacuse good time is on the way.
